OUGD603: The Homegrown Collective Research

I wanted to look into the type of furniture that The Homegrown Collective (THC) produce, to try and understand their practice in more detail, and also I needed to look at logos that may be for similar companies. I was asked to take into account the logo of Habitat, a skateboarding company.

THC have only been established since January 2016 and produce glass pipes and furniture made from driftwood. They are a collective of creatives looking to produce and sell products in the Lake District and further a field. They are just looking for a logo that will be memorable and playful. (They allowed me to take the logo in any direction)

Products below are not property of THC, but are of similar design to what they produce.

Habitat Skateboard Logo

The company wanted their logo to be similar to the Habitat logo, with thick lines, clean colours and a very illustrative style.
