OUGD603: Intern Magazine Workshop

Today Alec from Intern magazine came in to set us a day brief.

We were put into groups and asked to come up with the concept for an independent magazine.

We had to come up with the concept, audience, aesthetic, strategy, lifespan and progression.






































As a group we started by mind mapping ideas of what we wanted the magazine to be about. Originally I wanted to go with a wine and cheese magazine. 

We decided on making a magazine that targeted everyday workers, giving the reader an insight into their lives. 




The Magazine was to be called 'A day in the life'.

We decided that the magazine would involve 7 different people, asking them 24 different questions into their lives. We wanted the magazine to have an even spread of image and text.

We decided that we would split the different tasks up. Me, Danielle and Laura were designing the front cover/ finding images for the content.
